FabriQDM Features

FabriQDM is a universal Quality Data Manager, which creates an easy to use QDM template that defines, validates and stores all necessary inspection data for traceability and analysis. Using the QDM template over the network, inspection data can be directly captured by most digital measuring instruments (digital calipers, height gauges, protractors, etc.), the FabriVISION machine itself and manual entries (pin gages, thread gages, CMM, etc.). This provides flexibility to accommodate the majority of inspection needs. Furthermore, the QDM template incorporates a tolerance range to validate pass or fail decisions.

• Create a template for critical inspection dimensions.
• Collect and organize data on the critical dimensions of your parts.
• Create inspection reports in seconds to meet a customer’s reporting requirements, or your own internal quality control requirements.
• Create SPC data including charting data in a Histogram, Run Chart, and X Bar/Range plot.
• Create an Inspection Sheet from your CAD file.
• Transfer the orthographic images from a CAD file to the orthographic page.
• Create the inspection check sheet file for the flat view.
• Go to the orthographic page and create the dimensions required for inspection and save this 3D inspection check sheet for later use.

 

 

Inspect the Flat Part

• Scan the flat part to gather inspection results.
• View the flat inspection results.
• Save as an inspection in process file.

Inspect the 3D Part with Auto Dimension Log

• Open the inspection in process file to input manual inspection results.
• Use electronic gauges or other measuring devices to measure a specific dimension.
• The report dialog box will automatically guide you through the inspection process.
• If the dimension is out of tolerance, the manual entry box shows the measurement in red.
• If the dimension is within tolerance the manual entry box shows the measurement in green.

Automatically Generate Inspection Reports

• Orthographic results appear on the report page.
• Choose from SPC summary reports or include charts.
• Customize Excel templates for reports as needed.
• Print off inspection reports as required.
