The multi-axis backgauge expedites setup for complex parts. The lightweight rigid design allows for precise, high-speed positioning. Independent servo drives for L-axis as well as L-shift allow for tapered and offset gauging. The double-clamp fingers enable accurate processing of complex material with geometric shapes. The backgauge's high-speed movement on all axes ensures the gauge fingers are positioned as quickly as the operator positions the part.
The EGB is equipped with an electric servo drive system that achieves high-speed, low torque and low-speed, high torque with a single motor. This reduces the need for hydraulic oil and cuts down CO2 emissions by approximately 20%.
The ERGO package on the EGB 4010 and 6013 models come with the AMADA Tools Setup Assistant and a foldable work table and ergonomic chair. These features facilitate operator safety while further increasing bending productivity.
