The FOL represents the latest evolutionary step in laser processing and fully supports Amada’s laser philosophy of matching user’s applications to appropriate machines. This system features linear drives in the X, Y, & Z axis. The design offers an unprecedented high-speed, dual linear drive gantry capable of moving the laser cutting head at 13,386 IPM along an X, Y-axis vector of 45 degrees. The acceleration of the FOL is 5G. The FOL’s fixed reflective beam collimator and CNC controlled adaptive optics are a must for fast and consistent cutting of a variety of thicknesses from thin sheets to ½” thick steel plate.
